The 2022 Breast Cancer Symposium, which is taking place virtually this year, is scheduled for February 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sponsored by the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute and Wayne State University School of Medicine, the conference will be presented virtually via Motown Digital.
Keynote speakers will be E. Shelley Hwang MD, MPH, Mary and Deryl Hart Professor Emeritus of Surgery and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Surgery, and Leader of the Breast Cancer Disease Group at Duke University and Duke Cancer Institute; and Hope Rugo, MD, FASCO, professor of medicine and director of breast oncology and clinical trial education at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center and the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The cost to attend is $25 for physicians, pharmacists, mid-level providers, retired physicians, nurses, and other paramedical health care providers. The conference is free for fellows, residents and medical students.
