CM issues appointment letter to AYUSH physicians to fill human resource gap

Ranchi, August 22; Chief Minister Hemant Soren participated in the program of distribution of letters of appointment of community health workers selected on contract basis from Jharkhand AYUSH sector. He congratulated the newly appointed officers.

The chief minister said the government had made 217 candidates in its health department.

“The government will also start educating traditional medicines like Unani, Ayurvedic and homeopathic studies. The government has also decided to give incentives to top performing AYUSH doctors,” Soren said.

“Our government has decided to give a bonus of up to 15,000 per month in addition to salary. If you do a better job throughout the year, we will give you better incentives,” Soren said.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Department of Health, Jharkhand and Shri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital in front of the Chief Minister, children and adults in Jharkhand will be able to get free heart care at Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital in Rajkot and Ahmedabad.

Under the MoU, one thousand heart patients from Jharkhand will be treated free of charge every year at Sri Sathya Sai Hospital in Gujarat. The government of Jharkhand will spend Rs 10,000 per patient for the travel of these patients. Calling it a historic milestone, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said the MoU will provide free cardiac treatment to youths and adults in Jharkhand at Sri Sathya Sai Hospital, Rajkot and Ahmedabad. The Chief Minister said that due to lack of money, those who cannot get treatment, this arrangement will prove to be a milestone for them.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Banna Gupta said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, work is underway to improve the health department from the time of Covid.

“We are moving forward with the objective of completing the work on schedule. Work is underway to address the shortage of human resources by giving appointment letters to AYUSH doctors,” Gupta said.

Health Minister Banna Gupta said Sahiya sisters who do a better job will receive medals according to their rank. He said that whenever he talks to the Union Health Minister, he demands to increase Sahiya’s fee and the government tries to increase Sahiya’s fee.

The Chief Minister launched three health-related apps on this occasion. Under it, Ayush Yoga app, Ayush patient monitoring app and Jeevan Doot app are included.
