Mandaviya to Congratulate Top 25 NEET-PG Medical Course Holders

New Delhi: Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will congratulate and engage in conversation with the top 25 NEET-PG exam scorers for medical and dental courses on Thursday evening.
The event will take place on the eve of National Doctors Day, which is celebrated annually on July 1. In medical schools across the country, many events take place on this day. The front row holders will be treated with dinner at the residence of the Union Health Minister this evening, official sources have said.

These are the first interactions between a Union Health Minister and top students from the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programs. There will be 50 medical students who are ready to interact with the minister.

Mandaviya will also congratulate doctors at Lady Hardinge College, New Delhi tomorrow. National Physicians Day is observed annually in memory of Dr BC Roy who also served as Chief Minister of West Bengal.

Last year, at an event organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on National Doctors Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated doctors on behalf of 130 million Indians for their services during times of crisis of the COVID pandemic. The Prime Minister recognized the doctor’s contribution, remembered his valiant efforts throughout the pandemic and paid tribute to those who gave their lives for the good of humanity.
